## Converting Target Scores into a Proficiency Score

For each standard in your class please use this bi-modal matrix to arrive at one proficiency number. In other words, what is the first most common number that you see, following by the second most common number? 3 then 2? 4 then 1?

After you find you modal combination place it on the matrix below to discover your proficiency ranking in that particular standard. For example, if you have 3-2 combination that would roll up to a 3 as an overall proficiency score for that standard.

A: A score of “3” or “4” in each of the academic STANDARD

B: A score of “2” in any one STANDARD (with grades of “3” or “4” in the remaining

C: A score of “2” in more than one STANDARD (no score of “1”)

D: At least one score of “1”; at least one score of 2 or above

F: A score of “1” in each of the three academic STANDARDS

C: A score of 2 in more than one STANDARDS (no score of 1)

D: At least one score of 1; at least one score of 2 or above

F: A score of 1 in each of the three academic STANDARDS
